7 Stunning Janhvi Kapoor Looks from Ambani Wedding

From paying homage to her roots to paying respect to the couple’s roots, Janhvi Kapoor attended Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s wedding dolled up in outfits that were not just highly breathtaking but also particularly meaningful.

Mindfully chosen jewellery, precision handwork of the land on her outfits, and beautiful make-up and hairstyle to enhance each ensemble, Janhvi Kapoor decided to ace every look at the Ambani wedding, and here is the proof. We curated seven stunning Janhvi Kapoor Looks and high-quality pictures from the Ambani Wedding for the brides-to-be and the photographers to take photography inspiration.

1. The Golden Glam for the Wedding Look

The internet-breaker of a look, Jahnvi Kapoor arrived in a gold custom-designed Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga for the Anant and Radhika Ambani wedding ceremony. Her blouse was decorated with authentic gold temple jewellery significant to her cultural heritage. She paired the blouse with a mermaid-style lehenga skirt, shimmering gold sequins, and Dori work.

Her net dupatta had floral golden sequins, which looked like somebody had wrapped her in golden dust. She complimented her ensemble with a choker necklace, chandbalis, ear chains attached to the braided hairdo – something she frequently adorns with her Indian outfits, a mang tika, rings, bangles and elegant make-up to give her the best look of the night. The photos from the evening turned out great, too, showcasing her beauty through camera angles and appropriate background (in this case, dark to enhance her golden ensemble). All her photos from the event are similar and an excellent guide for asian wedding photography.

2. Shiv Shakti Pooja Outfit

Janhvi arrived at the Shiv Shakti pooja hosted by the Ambanis for Anant and Radhika in a breathtaking threadwork lehenga ensemble designed by Anamika Khanna. The subtle mirror work featured traditional Gujarati motifs all over to pay respect to the Ambani roots. This lehenga was multi-coloured, with an ivory-based blouse and a plunging neckline decorated with mirror and threadwork.

Janhvi wore an aubergine dupatta that featured floral applique work pleated and pinned on one shoulder, giving her a neat look. She made this look ten times more iconic by adding a temple design Kamar bandh accentuating her waistline, bangles, a traditional choker with multicoloured polkis, and matching jhumkis. Lastly, her well-done centre-parted bun with a gajra made the ensemble memorable.

3. Corset + Lehenga Combination for Shubh Aashirwad Ceremony

Janhvi loves her corsets, but honestly, who doesn’t? Corsets are so in with traditional skirts. Radhika Merchant herself included two corset + lehenga outfits in her wedding outfits. For the Shubh Aashirwad Ceremony, Janhvi Kapoor wore an unreleased Tarun Tahiliani corset and lehenga look.

The ensemble included a crystal-embellished Victorian corset attached to a draped sheer cape and a hand-embroidered skirt with crystals, sequins, pearls, and lace, finished with ruffles at the bottom. Gorgeous silver earrings, a sleek open hairstyle, minimal make-up with a classic winged liner, defined lashes, and glossy lips gave her an ethereal Renaissance sculpture look.

4. The Mermaid Lehenga Look For Sangeet Ceremony

In yet another out-of-this-world outfit, Janhvi Kapoor wore a peacock feather embellished mermaid lehenga with a matching dupatta for the Anant-Radhika Sangeet ceremony. In an infamous moment, her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, had to cut the can-can of the lehenga because she was performing at the event.

Designed by Manish Malhotra, this peacock blue and green sequin-embellished lehenga was nothing short of a dream. The blouse had a cropped design with a sheer neckline, a sleeveless cut, and a mermaid-style lehenga layered with sequined gold and blue peacock feathers. For her hairstyle, she opted for the half-tied, half-open look and a beautiful emerald choker with matching earrings to complete the look.

5. Orange-Red Lehenga Look for Mameru Ceremony

For the Anant-Radhika Mameru ceremony, Kapoor wore designer Arpita Mehta’s whole lehenga-choli-dupatta look. She wore an orange-red lehenga with a multi-coloured thread embroidery bralette-like choli and a Bandhani dupatta over her shoulder. This lehenga had elephant and tree embroidered motifs inspired by the traditional craft of Ahir embroidery.

Her sense of picking the outfits and the suitable stones makes her look iconic. She chose a choker encrusted with multi-coloured stones and pearls and a matching pair of jhumkas to compliment this look. A clean nude make-up with a small black bindi and brown lips with soft curls made this look regal and gorgeous.

6. The Beautiful Yellow Saree Look for the Haldi Ceremony

Haldi makes everyone experiment with the shades of yellow, and for Janhvi, every experiment is her best. Kapoor chose a lush yellow saree with delicate tassels and shimmering sequin designed by the iconic and her best friend, Manish Malhotra, for the Anant-Radhika Haldi ceremony. Her blouse had full sleeves that had tassels, too, to match the details of her saree.

Her hair was styled straight, and her minimal makeup gave her a natural glow, complimenting the essence of the Haldi ceremony.

7. The Traditional Half-Saree Look for the “Heritage Night”

For the final 7th look, we want to express Janhvi’s appreciation for her South Indian roots, which she consistently visits and respects through her outfit selection. All her pre-wedding looks from the Ambani wedding were 10/10, be it the silver mini dress or the purple ensemble. What stood out was her final look, which she matched with her sister, Khushi Kapoor!

She wore a classic Manish Malhotra saree draped like a lehenga, adorned with a necklace and matching kamar bandh. She went for a traditional hairstyle and put a pink floral string in her hair to elevate the hairstyle. Kapoor’s selection of outfits for the Ambani wedding undoubtedly declared her one of the best-dressed actresses of this generation easily.
