4. Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore a sindoori red Sabyasachi lehenga for her Hindu wedding. According to the couturier, it took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata a total of 3,720 hours to custom-create the piece. The lehenga was embroidered with delicate hand-cut organza flowers, french knots in silk floss and layers of threadwork. Her outfit had all the elements of a Hindu bride – bindi, sindoor, nath, maang tikka, traditional jewellery and kalira.

Moreover, Priyanka’s, Nick’s and her parents’ names were inscribed on her waistband. She also got her kalire customised by Mrilnalini Chandra, with every charm attached to them representing special moments she and Nick Jonas shared.
